If you haven't been over to the new Institute of Contemporary Art over in the South Boston Waterfront, do yourself a favor and go there tonight! The New York Times called the ICA "a stunning landmark of the new Boston" which is probably an understatement.
For more incentive, Thursday nights from 5pm-9pm are free admission.
The ICA regularly presents contemporary art in all media forms including visual art exhibitions, music, film, video, and performance. Special exhibitions going on right now are: Dr. Lakra (a must see if you're into tattoos) and Roni Horn AKA Roni Horn.
And if you're not all that into contemporary art, still go check out the ICA - it will be a monument on the burgeoning Waterfront for years to come!
Remember: Thursday nights are FREE between 5pm and 9pm

It's hard to believe you can get an amazing look at the night sky from the heart of the city, but that's exactly what you can get
With Jazz Week here in Boston in full swing, we wanted to make it sure you weren't missing out on getting your grove on with 10 days of jazz. From April 23 to May 2, Jazz Week '10: Made in Boston, Played in Boston will be presenting over 230 shows at 80 different venues (many free or low cost)!
The Boston Public Library is running a year long "Made in Massachusetts" film series that highlights locally made movies each Monday night. Since it supposed to be a rainy night, what better way to spend it than with a few friends checking out a free movie at the Library (700 Boylston Street in Copley Square).
