Greetings from Boston, an exhibition of vintage postcards currently on display in the Johnson Lobby, allows visitors to tour "vintage" Boston through postcards depicting some of the city's most famous places and spaces in bygone days.

Notch takes over the Lower Depths to debut two new beers - Notch Session Ale (an American Pale Ale) & Notch Session Pils (a Czech style Pilsner). And for the first time Notch will be available in bottles (six packs and cases - it is session beer). 25 semi-finalists from The Say Something Poster Project design competition will be on display for one night only. Designers from across the country have created postersthat "say something" to inspire teenage kids.
Come celebrate these amazing designers and vote within the event to determine the 10 winning posters, which will then be donated to the Home for Little Wanderers. Posters will be used by The Home for Little Wanderers. Posters will be used by The Home to engage kids in counseling and educational activities.
Prints of the 25 semi-finalists' posters will be available for pre-sale
at the show for $85 each.

A photograph is never just an objective document. Rather, a photograph tells a story from the perspective of the artist; the soul and creativity behind the lens. Panopticon Gallery is proud to present Storytellers, an exhibition celebrating the photographs of Frank Armstrong, Bill Franson and Stella Johnson, three unique perspectives on how to tell a visual narrative. This spring the Boston String Quartet, with guest artist flautist Elzbieta Brandys, will present a new program titled, “Portraits of America.” The program will include a premiere of “America Suite” by first violinist, Christopher Vuk, “Halcyon Quintet” for Flute and String Quartet by Andrew List, and Antonin Dvorak’s “American” String Quartet, written in Spillville, Iowa. The concerts will take place at Old South Church (Boston) on February 23rd at 7:30pm and Long Year Musuem (Chestnut Hill) on March 6th at 2:00pm.
The Boston String Quartet, known for their unique sound and contemporary playing techniques will be programming staples of American musical culture including jazz, ragtime, rock, and the blues. Don’t forget to wear your heart on your sleeve!

Come play broomball! Open to players of all skill levels, broomball hits the ice at 9:20pm sharp every Sunday at the Simoni Ice Rink in Cambridge. Players should arrive 15 minutes early and provide their own helmet*. Sticks, elbow pads, shin pads, and knee pads are recommended but not required.
