Three choreographers, three composers and three different dance genres are highlighted in the eclectic concert, featuring a premiere by Daniel Pelzig (former resident choreographer of the Boston Ballet) set to Tchaikovsky's Trio in a minor for Violin, Piano and Cello; Zero Cool, a jazz dance work by Cathy Young set to music drawn from Duke Ellington's Far East Suite and Latin American Suite; and iconic modern dance choreographer Doug Varone's The Constant Shift of Pulse set to John Adams' "Hallelujah Junction." Live music by Music Division students.

Faneuil Hall Marketplace, on Congress Street, will offer a special Valentine's Day celebration from noon to 7pm today.

Collegiate a cappella groups from Great Boston will serenade visitors in the rotunda of Quincy Market building. There will also be a discounts offered at resaurants and stores.

The French Cultural Center is have a wine talk and sampling tonight!

Bryan Owens Bryson is to unearth the facts around the popular claim that drinking red wine makes you live longer.

A PhD candidate in MIT's Biological Engineering program, Bryan focuses on cells' reception and transmission of signals with a particular focus on cancer and diabetes. He will discuss the science behind red wine as the fountain of youth: how it works, if it works, and what it means for scientists and red wine enthusiasts alike.

Talk will be followed by a wine reception. Red wine only, of course.
