Mmmmm...food!! YAY Greek Festival! Head to St. John's Greek Orthodox Church in the South End at 15 Union Park Street.

Enjoy the best Greek food and pastries the city has to offer, while visiting one of Boston’s oldest Greek churches and cultural centers. It is truly a taste of Greece in our own back yard. Everyone is welcome. From what we hear, it's AMAZING!

This event, on June 25-27, features the greatest barbeuce teams in the WORLD from Australia to Texas to Virginia, plus your favorite summer foods and tons of fun. It's at Suffolk Downs, 111 Waldemar Ave, East Boston.

FREE admission on Friday. $5 admission for Saturday and Sunday. (Ticket does not include food and beverage).

Just to get an understanding, it isn't just BBQ, but there will be a free ferris wheel ride, a beach bar, 100 tons of sand, music, a purple dance floor, a celebrity cook off on Friday at 5pm, an auto show, hula hoop contests...oh man...this is going to AMAZING!!!

Sample culinary delights from over 50 local restaurants, food purveyors, breweries and wine distributors.

The Taste of Cambridge (TOC) is a celebration of the diverse dining scene in this historic city. Cambridge is a melting pot of cultures and cuisines, and the 2010 Taste of Cambridge features creative and abundant samples of food and drink from some of this city’s most popular restaurants. Enhanced by a beautiful outdoor setting, live music and a great crowd, the TOC has feet become one of Cambridge’s most anticipated annual events.

Support the Boys & Girls Club at the Taj

taj boston roofAttend the Boys and Girls Club of Boston's Friends Council "Roof Party" on the roof of the Taj Boston Hotel this Friday (June 25) to celebrate the young professional group's first birthday and raise a little bit of money for the Club.  From the spectacular venue above the 17th floor of the Taj, with panoramic views of The Public Garden and the Back Bay, enjoy music and dancing, including a special performance by a talented club member!

With free drinks at the open bar (including a specialty event cocktail) and passed appetizers, it's well worth the ticket price with all proceeds going to the Boys and Girls Club of Boston.  There will also be a silent auction, raffle prizes, and giveaways.

An exciting party at a breathtaking venue, all for a great cause!  Tough to beat for something unique to do on what's shaping up to be a beautiful Friday night!

In the mood to belt out a few Broadway tunes?  Show Tune Tuesdays is every Tuesday at dbar. It all starts around 9PM with various show tunes clips and musicals played. Show Tunes Night lives on at dbar in Dorchester! There is a friendly and fun vibe every Tuesday night at dbar! Check out this fun night! This night has become very popular! Movies start at dusk. Bring a blanket or lawn chair, some popcorn and enjoy this family-friendly event.
