#461 Dude: Annual Big Lebowski Party

Posted by Tara Peterson on Mon, Aug 01, 2011

Lebowski banner2The Dude abides!

The Coolidge Corner Theatre is holding its annual The Big Lebowski screening and bowling party on Tuesday, August 1 at 7pm.  This Coen Brothers cult classic is an outrageously insane comedy of bowling, confused identities, naked performance art, porn-obsessed nihilists, a sex offender named Jesus, and some unforgettable musical dream sequences. Not to mention the inimitable Jeff Bridges as The Dude.

There wlll be plenty of pre-show festivities to really tie things together:  Lebowski trivia, a costume contest, script readings, and, of course bowling!  The Coolidge has collected a ton of Dude-themed prizes to hand out - so dust off your bathrobes, work on your Walter impressions, and come celebrate this cult sensation.
Where: Coolidge Corner
When: Tonight at 7pm
Price: $6.75 - $9.75
