#422 Graphic Design Exhibit

Posted by Tara Peterson on Fri, Jun 24, 2011

designDesign is all around us. Everything, really, is designed.

Common uses of graphic design include identity (logos and branding), web sites, publications (magazines, newspapers, and books), advertisements and product packaging. For example, a product package might include a logo or other artwork, organized text and pure design elements such as shapes and color which unify the piece. Composition is one of the most important features of graphic design, especially when using pre-existing materials or diverse elements.

With all of that said, go and see some unhibited work of the students (I mean unhibited, because as students we have specific guidelines and don't really have to deal with clients and their demands...man I miss design school sometimes. haha)

The New England School of Art and Design at Suffolk University is hosting the Graphic Design Graduate Student Exhibit now to July 5 at the gallery at 75 Arlington Street. Gallery hours are 9am-8pm Monday through Friday and from 11am to 5pm Saturday and Sunday. The gallery iss free and open to the public.

Go...and see some amazing work!
