Somerville is getting an exciting addition in Assembly Row. The new Legoland will be opening on May 23rd and will feature rides, a 4D movie theater with sensory effects and much more!

"The complex also includes Lego models of historic Boston landmarks, such as Fenway Park, the USS Constitution, and Paul Revere’s house. It is the largest 'miniland' section of all the Legoland Discovery Centers, according to company officials."

The New England Condominium's Condo and Apt Expo is the leading real estate trade show in New England. The Expo will be held on Tuesday, May 20th from 10:00am-4:30pm at the Seaport World Trade Center by the Waterfront. 

The NEC's Condo and Apartment Expo "will be filled with more than 150 exhibitors covering every aspect of condominium and apartment management and maintenance. The Expo is the ideal place to meet with service providers from accountants, attorneys, landscapers, managers, waterproofers and more."

The food truck industry is really taking off in the Boston area and the Somerville Food Truck Festival will have most of the competition for guests to enjoy! Over twenty food trucks will bet there this year including Fugu, Makin' Jamaican, Roxy's Grilled Cheese and Sweet Tomatoes!

The Somerville Food Truck Festival will be held on Saturday, June 7th from 11:00am-4:00pm in Assembly Row. Tickets are only $5 and free for children under 12.

Boston Green Drinks will be having a Happy Hour on Tuesday, May 20th from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Scholars in Boston.

Get ready for the Revere Beach Kite Festival! The event will be held on Sunday, May 18th from 11:00am-2:00pm. 

The first 300 kids under the age of 12 will receive a complimentary kite and will be able to decorate them thanks to a generous donation from Sea Side Kites.

"Chefs from Gaslight, Grass Fed, The Haven, Bravo at the Museum of Fine Arts and Sycamore will be putting their patties up for consideration in hopes of taking home the title of Best Burger as awarded by a panel local personalities and burger experts.

The evening’s festivities will also include games, auctions, wine tastings, veggie burgers and photo opportunities to keep things lively.

Proceeds will be used towards the development of an outdoor classroom, art instruction, physical education and science enrichment at the JP Manning School."

The MBTA will start offering weekend boat service! The commuter boat service will be provided between Hingham, Hull, George's Island and Boston starting May 24th! 

"Each Saturday and Sunday, there will be 14 round trips between Hingham and Boston’s Long Wharf, with a number of boats making stops at Hull, Georges Island, and Logan Airport. The boats depart hourly from Hingham and Boston, beginning at 8 a.m. and 9 a.m., respectively.  

A one-way fare between Hingham or Hull and Long Wharf is $8. The fare for Logan service is $16, but only $8 for those with a valid monthly Commuter Boat pass."

This service will provide commuters with an alternative route of transportation and an opportunity to enjoy other beautiful areas outside of Boston during the summertime!
