Taza Chocolate is one of the best chocolate shops in the Boston area and offers tours & events at their shops.

On Thursday, March 20th from 7-9 PM, Taza invites guests to "wash away the winter blues", sample and socialize!

At their factory location on Windsor Street in Somerville, Taza will be having a chocolate, beer & local food tasting event in celebration of spring! 

 In addition to Taza chocolate, the tasting event will feature CHIVE Sustainable Events & Catering, Cape Cod Beer, Banner Beer Company. 

The Spring Beer Fest will be held on Sunday, March 23rd at the Boston Center for the Arts in the South End. 

"Come celebrate Spring and taste beers from a variety of breweries. Guests will be given a passport to travel through different breweries and taste beers from each.

All guests will be entered to win items values at over $1000! Each guest will receive a passport (map) allowing travel to every brewery."

Tickets for the 14th Annual Irish Film Festival are on sale now! The festival will be held from Thursday, March 20th to Sunday, March 23rd at the Somerville Theatre.

"Boston Irish Film Festival Productions, a non-profit entity with 501(c) 3 status, was set up in 1999 to celebrate and promote global Irish cinema. The festival quickly became the largest event of its kind outside Ireland. It provides exhibition, distribution, and educational opportunities for filmmakers; honors their work with awards; and produces original documentaries on contemporary Irish cinema."

Categories for the film festival include best drama, best breakthrough and director's choice.

The Boston Underground Film Festival will be held at the Brattle Theatre in Cambridge from Sunday, March 16th to Tuesday, March 18th.

"The Boston Underground Film Festival was birthed from the filthy brain of founder David Kleiler way back in 1998. All wet and slippery straight from the mind-womb, the festival began life as an all-night film marathon run by Kleiler and longtime festival pal Dima Ballin. This informal event quickly grew into the first annual Boston Underground Film Festival held at the Revolving Museum in South Boston. Programmer Bernard Broginart described this first annual gathering as 'a wonderful hoax of a film festival.' We'd like to think that things have come a long way since then."

Formally known as Restaurant Week, Dine Out Boston will be available at set restaurants from March 16th-21st and the 23rd-28th.

St. Patrick’s Day at the Irish Cultural Centre of New England

The Irish Cultural Centre of New England is the hub of all things Gaelic this holiday, with live music starting at 1 p.m., including performances by Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann and local favorite Dan Hallissey. The Cultural Centre will also host the O’Shea-Chaplin Academy of Irish Dance for a performance, and serve corned beef and cabbage paired with plenty of Guinness.

Mass Farmers Markets and Edible Boston will be sponsoring the Farm To Glass Mixology Throwdown on March 15th at the W Boston. 

The cocktails for the throwdown will include farm fresh ingridence which guests will get to try and vote on throughout the evening. 

The Dropkick Murphys are back in Boston! The Dropkicks will be performing at the House of Blues from Thursday, March 13th to Sunday, March 16th. 

The Dropkick Murphys, formed in Quincy, MA, is a American Celtic Punk Band that is notorious for putting on awesome shows during the St. Patrick's Day holiday in Boston.

"The 2004 single 'Tessie' became the band's first hit and one of their biggest charting singles to date. The band's final Hellcat release, 2005's The Warrior's Code, included the song 'I'm Shipping Up to Boston'; the song was featured in the 2006 Academy Award-winning movie The Departed, and went on to become the band's only Platinum-selling single to date, and remains one of their best-known songs."

The Boston Flower & Garden Show is coming to the Seaport World Trade Center from March 12th to the 16th!

On Thursday, March 13th, the Elevating YW Network will be having an art sale to benefit the YWCA Boston called Art + Social Justice. The event will be held at Doffie's Studio in Cambridge from 6:30pm-8:30pm.

Dorothy “Doffie” Arnold will have her beautiful collection of thousands of paintings and drawings up for sale.

"Eighty percent of each sale will go directly to YWCA Boston to support our programs to create a better Boston for everyone. Painting and drawings start at $100."
