On Sunday, February 16th, The Sinclair in Cambridge will be hosting the Cocktail Wars for bartenders in the area. 

Bartenders include Crystal Kelley from Brick and Mortar, Will Tomlinson from Tavern Road, Jason Cool from Citizen Public House and Ray Tremblay from Newtowne Grille. The bartenders have the tools, ingredienance and knowledge. "Then, as in cooking competitions like 'Iron Chef,' they’re presented with a mystery spirit and ingredient. They have 20 minutes to design a recipe that tastes and looks good — and have to justify it all to a panel of judges."

Guests for this event will be able to sample the bartenders creations and vote on their favorite concoction.

Bernstein's award winning 'West Side Story' will be at Boston Symphony Hall from Friday, February 14th to Sunday, February 18th.

The Brattle Threatre in Cambridge will be having their 19th Annual Bugs Bunny Film Festival from February 15th-23rd.

The "first program is the All Bugs Revenue, starring everyone’s favorite wascally wabbit. The second program, Daffy Duck and Friends features Bugs’ frequently frustrated second-fiddle, Daffy Duck, alongside the rest of the Looney Tunes. We round out the second weekend with special matinees of a Looney Tunes Revenue featuring a completely different program and a few surprises!"

Chinatown Lion Dance Parade
The Chinatown Lion Dance Parade will be held on Sunday, February 9th from 11am-5pm. The Lion Dance parade will feature dance, drums and firecrackers! "The annual Chinese New Year Parade provides a lot of fun as well as the best opportunity to see traditional Lion Dances performed in Boston's Chinatown, the third largest in the U.S. Lion Dances are believed to drive away evil spirits and bring good luck - so they're the perfect way to start the New Year." Lunar New Year Celebration at the MFA
The MFA will have free admission on February 8th starting at 10am. "Celebrate the Year of the Horse with free admission to Boston's MFA, and plenty of fun family activities all day to mark the Lunar New Year. Special events include a parade and performance by Gund Kwok, the only Asian women's Lion Dance troupe in New England, interactive demos of Chinese martial arts and Korean bowing ceremonies, guided tours of the Art of Asia Galleries, and family art-making activities."

Eligible singles are invited to bid on dates, drawings and live auctions during the Charity Date Auction to benefit The Jimmy Fund.

The event will be held on February 7th from 6:00pm-10:30pm at The Estate. The live auction will include items such as a pair of 2014-2015 New England Patriots tickets, Bruins tickets and a $100 giftcard to Union Bar and Grill.

For each heart made, West Elm will donate $1 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.

Then, the paper heart chains from every West Elm store across the country will be sent to St. Jude to decorate the hospital for Valentine’s Day! "

The 'Tainted Love' Party is just one of the many events going on on Valentine's Day. The event, located at MJ O'Connors in Faneuil Hall Marketplace, is anything but romantic.

The Tainted Love event is great for singles and anyone wanting to get away from all the couples and hype of the holiday. MJ O'Connors will be promoting Guinness, have a $6 late night menu and play everything but love songs. There will also be prizes and giveaways throughout the night.

'Godfrey is one of the hottest comedians in town.  His one man show, The Godfrey Complex, was a major hit at the Just For Laughs festival in Montreal.  GQ Magazine recently said that Godfrey 'is set to be one of the biggest performers in the US in 12 months,' following his run at the festival.
