September 1st Apartment Search is in Full Effect in Boston

Do you have an apartment for September 1st, yet?  NO!?

It’s ok, we’re here.

You may have noticed friends, colleagues and acquaintances talking about their next move.  Some of them may have already found a September 1st apartment in Boston. You may have even received an invitation to extend your lease from your landlord already.   How could they want a commitment to extend so soon?

With the Boston rental market at 96% occupancy, there is an early scramble for September 1 apartments.

Currently, we have 1212 available apartments for September first.  This month, we have received listings at a faster rate than they are renting.  But that is beginning to change as more and more renters start looking for September 1st apartments.

Long gone are the days that September 1 is only a students’ day to move – although we have off-campus apartments for you academics as well.  The reality is that Bostonian renters move in September, at least the majority.  Start now, and you’ll have the widest selection of inventory.  Go to our online Boston apartment search, ask one of our agents for help to see apartments, and make it happen sooner rather than later.

Like last year, there will be some that miss the boat.  Don’t end up like the apartment-less goblin below.
