Two Towers Slated for Christian Science

Written by Scott Dobos | Jul 22, 2013 4:00:00 AM

Last month, it was reported by Boston Business Journals that the Christian Science Church has filed plans for two towers in the Back Bay. Almost a million square feet, one tower being almost 700 feet high housing a hotel, and the second tower being almost 300 feet high housing apartment units. These two buildings are trying to be built in the two vacant lots across from the Hilton and Sheraton Hotels.

Big news for some of the little remaining undeveloped space in the Back Bay.

More housing, great location, good for tourism, and for the community!

It’s exciting to see the undeveloped space with some big plans.

If you could choose what to put here, what would you build? Would you allocate it for a particular use? Let me know in comments or message.

If you’re even interested in checking out the planning, or the news regarding that big project you’re seeing on the drive home, check out the Boston Redevelopment Authority site.
