## <https://www.charlesgate.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/High-Jump-in-Utah-2-1.jpg>Why did you decide to pursue real estate as your career?

I have always had an interest in real estate. My father was a real estate agent in NYC for 15 years before he changed careers. As a result, I have always been fascinated with the business of helping clients and customers find “the right” place. So, when I was recently looking to shift I thought real estate would be a great opportunity to pursue my passion to help others and still utilize my digital marketing skills.

## What brought you to Charlesgate?

The recommendation to come to Charlesgate came from Jon Curley, who was my buyers agent in a recent sale. Jon, did an amazing job keeping me in the loop, following up and being on top of everything. I was very impressed with his knowledge and his follow through. I had made up my mind to go into real estate before I met Jon. However, after working with him and meeting the team. I realized that everyone embodied the company’s mission statement and I wanted to work with a brokerage company that developed top agents.

## What are you most excited about in starting your new career (in real estate at Charlesgate)?

Everyone at Charlesgate has developed an amazing career in a short amount of time, and that is what I want. I want a great real estate career.

## What did you do before getting into real estate?

Prior to working with Charlesgate, I was a digital marketer. I worked primarily with an [australian web development company](https://www.duxdigital.com.au) helping them to drive leads through [SEO](https://www.searchcombat.com/), PPC, Social Media and Mobile. These are skills that I would like to use at Charlesgate Realty to promote my brand.

## What do you like to do outside of work?

I have recently learned to snowboard, I play tennis and volunteer chess instructor at the public library.

## What do you like most about Boston?

The food! I am a foodie, and Boston has so many great, amazing restaurants. Favorite date place…. Carmen’s in the North End.
