1. Coming Soon: The Lancaster, 55 New Condos in Brighton

The Lancaster will be one of Boston’s most exciting home ownership opportunities coming online in 2015. It’s located at 1501 Commonwealth Ave in Brighton, one of the hottest neighborhoods in Boston right now. New restaurants are popping up almost every day within walking distance of The Lancaster. You’ve got fantastic ethnic eats (and live music!) in Allston, some of the best restaurants in the greater Boston area in Washington Sq (like Ribelle and The Publick House), and a Whole Foods just around the corner. And with inexpensive breakfast and lunch options and public transportation almost right at your front door, The Lancaster is easy living all the way.

2. DiMella Featured in NY Times About College Investors

Michael DiMella, managing partner at Charlesgate, was recently featured in the NY Times regarding his expertise on the Boston investment andcondo market. The article titled, “Indians Join the Wave of Investors in Condos and Homes in the U.S.,” discusses the “security blanket” aspect of owning homes in the United States. As the article highlights:

“The wealthy elite from China, Latin America and elsewhere have bought pieds-à-terre in glassy towers in Manhattan, luxury condos in Miami and homes along the West Coast. Law enforcement investigations have found that some foreign investors are using American real estate holdings, at least in part, to hide cash and other assets from authorities in their home country.
