The Clarendon: "The Way To Live"

When asked to write a quick paragraph on one of Boston’s Full Service Luxury Condo buildings I immediately volunteered to write about The Clarendon “The Way To Live”

I work exclusively as a Buyer’s Agent here in Boston and have become familiar with all of the luxury condo buildings that the city has to offer.  And while there are several elite properties in the area, I firmly believe The Clarendon stands out from the competition.

From the moment you walk into the lobby you can feel the elegance and detail that architect Robert A.M. Stern envisioned.  The Grand Lobby has a warm/welcoming feeling with an abundance of light. As you go through the Grand Lobby towards the elevators to the residences there is a beautifully designed library(“Culture Lounge”) that is fully stocked to keep residents up to speed with the newest trends in art and design.

The residences are designed with the taste and sophistication that the modern Buyer demands.  Most floor plans have the open living/kitchen concept, which is perfect for the in-home chef and/or the weekend entertainer.  The oversized windows throughout the residences allow for an abundance of natural light and scintillating views.  Perhaps most impressive though is the detail and finishes of the master baths.  From the marble to the custom cabinets, I can honestly say they are a notch above the competition.

Other amenities include the fitness center by Equinox, exclusively for the private use of its residents. There is also the Clubroom, which can be used for private parties or simply as a change of scenery.  There is also a terrace/deck right off the Clubroom, a great spot to sit and read or to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. They even offer a Children’s Playroom, a nice added bonus for those with a family or young guests.

The most appealing aspect of The Clarendon would have to be its unmatched location. It is ideally and centrally located in Back Bay, just steps away from the South End.  You can walk five minutes to the shops on Newbury Street or to dine at any of the restaurants that the South End has to offer.

I am always asked about properties and many buyers inquire about my personal recommendations.  The Clarendon certainly receives a ringing endorsement.
