Middlesex County home prices

Part of what I am trying to do is help you understand the real estate market and what is going on out there, especially through this turbulent economic time.  So after the last two posts containing Boston neighborhood market data, I thought it would be an interesting comparison to see how some of the neighboring communities were faring.  I found this chart with home prices and number of sales in Middlesex county from this week's edition of Banker and Tradesman.  Clearly most of these suburbs (with a few exceptions) are struggling, unlike downtown Boston which is holding strong so far.  Keep in mind though, that these stats are single family homes and the Boston neighborhood stats previous are from condo sales. Condo sales in the suburbs are faring slighly better then single families but there are similar trends in both.
