For those of you who can't go home or maybe don't want to spend hours in the kitchen, many hotels in the city are offering Thanksgiving brunches and dinners on Thursdays. Here are a few suggestions on where to go in Boston.

Please keep in mind that reservations are highly recommended. 

Ritz Carlton
The Ritz Carlton will be having a Thanksgiving brunch from 12pm-6pm. "Indulge in a delicious feast of traditional carving stations of roast turkey, prime rib and a seafood station with shrimp, Jonah crab claws and oysters. Family-friendly foods, decadent pastries, live music and dessert decorating stations for children are also featured." There will also be a Thanksgiving buffet. 75 on Liberty Wharf
"Located in Boston’s Seaport District, 75 on Liberty Wharf is celebrating Thanksgiving with a special three-course prix fixe meal. Choose from a spread of starters, entrees, and desserts, with options such as oven-roasted turkey, harvest pumpkin bisque, and rum raisin pudding." The Thanksgiving meal will be offered from 11:30am-6:00pm. The prix fixe meal is set at $55/adult. 

Aura Restaurant
"Leave the Thanksgiving cooking up to chef Robert Tobin at Aura restaurant at the Seaport Hotel. Brunch will include Thanksgiving favorites, traditional brunch fare, and other autumn classics including pumpkin chestnut soup, corn bread pudding, and whipped sweet potatoes." "The John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum in Boston, the nation's official memorial to President John F. Kennedy, will observe the 50th Anniversary of November 22, 1963 with a number of presentations that celebrate the legacy of the nation's 35th President.

Observances will include a ceremony webcast by satellite from the IM Pei designed glass pavilion at the Kennedy Library, and the presentation of a selection of artifacts from the President's State Funeral that have never before been displayed."

Ever wonder if you could handle a CrossFit Session? Well now is your chance to try it out, and its free!

Crossfit "focuses on high intensity interval training, which fitness experts say is the most efficient way to workout." It is one of the most popular types of fitness training for 2013 and is taking the nation by storm. 

The Reebok CrossFit, located at 31 James Ave in Back Bay, will be having their free session on Saturday, November 23rd from 12:00PM-1:00PM. The indoor session will be lead by a Reebok CrossFit coach and will include a introduction to the sport,a team work out and a cool down with a physical therapist.

The Reebok CrossFit session will be small and space is limited so register online today.

Established in 1848, the Boston Public Library is known as "one of the five most important libraries in America". It's history and millions of articles, books and other reading materials make this library a wonderful Back Bay destination for locals and tourists alike.

The Boston Public Libary offers free tours "The Boston Public Library offers public tours highlighting the architecture of Charles Follen McKim and Philip Johnson, as well as the many works of famed sculptors and painters. The free tours last about an hour and are given by volunteer guides. No appointment is necessary. Tours meet in the lobby of the McKim Building (Dartmouth Street entrance). "The Newbury Street League’s annual tree lighting ceremony will kick-off the holiday season on Boston’s fabled Newbury Street.

The lighting ceremony will include performances by Boston-based singer and songwriters Vincent King, who will debut the Newbury Street Jingle 'I'm On Newbury Street' and award-winning singer Shea Rose, Best Female Vocalist of the Year Nominee, Boston Music Awards! Also a chance to meet New England Patriot Danny Aiken and many more!

The Newbury Street League supports the stores and restaurants on Newbury Street at the annual public tree lighting ceremony as the kick-off for the holiday season. Watch as our 'Holiday Luminaries', notables of our local Press/Media, light up the trees on Newbury Street and herald the Newbury Street arrival of the Elf Challenge at many Newbury Street Locations!"

The event will be held on Tuesday, November 19th at 5:30pm at the corner of Newbury & Gloucester Street.

The Stash Dash is a scavanger hunt bar crawl that donates all tickets towards Movember and men's health. This year The Stash Dash will be held on Satuday, November 23rd with registation starting at 11:30am at Fenway.

This is a great way for anyone 21+ to have some fun with friends, meet some new ones and, for those who are participating, have some fun with their growing stache. 

The Stash Dash ticket will include the Mustache Dash T-Shirt and backpack, Scavenger Hunt Activity list, complimentary mustache and more! All participating bars will also cover fees for those with valid wristbands. 

Last year the event raised over $3200 from the 400+ attendees.

Tickets are currently $23.00 and are available online. Ticket pricing will change the day of the event.

The Drink Craft Beer-Fall to Winter Fest is almost here! The event will be held on Friday, November 15th and Saturday, November 16th at the Revere Hotel.  

As the seasons change, so do the beers. With fall and winter bringing more spice and heartiness to beers, the best way to experience the change in flavor is to try all of them out. 

There will be over twenty five New England brewers in attendance bringing over 80 craft beers. Each New England brewer will bring at least one fall or winter inspired beverage for guests to sample. 

Along with New England beers, food options will also be available for purchase.
