WAAF & Budweiser at Baseball Tavern

The Red Sox will be playing back at home on Wednesday night for Game 6 of the Worldred sox Series! WAAF and Budweiser will be hosting an event that night at the Baseball Tavern by Fenway from 5:30pm-7:30pm.

Whether you're going to the game or just want to grab a beer by Kenmore, Baseball Tavern is close enough to Fenway Park to experience all the excitement of Game 6! 

There will be a chance for guests to win last minute tickets to the World Series, courtesy of Budweiser!

Project Smile 10th Anniversary Celebration

project smileThe Project Smile 10th Anniversary Celebration will be held on Friday, November 1st at the DoubleTree Hill in Milford, MA. 

The event will feature a silent auction with over 100 items, a live auction hosted by Dick Ferrucci, special guests and music. Auction items include airfare, ski lift and admission tickets to various events! 

Founded by Catherine Pisacane, "Project Smile is federally tax exempt non-profit organization which donates stuffed animals, coloring books/crayons, small toys and children's reading books to police and fire departments for police officers, fire fighters and paramedics to give to children involved in traumatic situations. Project Smile has recently launched the Operation Elder Care program which provides stuffed animals to elderly people who are making the difficult and frequently traumatic transition to life in a nursing home."

Fall Pumpkin Festival at Frog Pond!

The Fall Pumpkin Festival will be at Frog Pond in the Common on Sunday, October 27 fromfall pumpkin festival 4:30pm to 6:30pm.

The Fall Pumpkin festival will have hundreds of jack-o-lanterns floating on Frog Pond and kid friendly activities in the area. 

"Attendees are asked to bring 8-inch or smaller carved pumpkins that will be lit and then floated on the Frog Pond for a thrilling early evening display.  In addition, local organizations have been invited to carve jack-o’-lanterns to put on display at the event and participants will have the opportunity to vote on their favorite pumpkin.  Children are also invited to decorate luminaries which will line the edge of the Frog Pond."

Paranormal Salem

Want to do something a little different and scary in Salem? Check out Paranormal Salem,paranormal where tour guests can be paranormal investigators in some of the most "haunted hot spots" in Salem.

Paranormal Salem is focused on "educating the public on paranormal activity, communication, and debunking. "Guests are given ghost hunting equipment, such as EMF detectors and audio records and learn how to use the equipment during the tour.

Trick or Treating at the Pru!

prubooOn Saturday, October 27th, visit the Prudential Center with your family for the Pru Boo! The trick-or-treating event will be from 11am-1pm. 

Parents and guardians can bring their children through the Prudential Shopping Center for treats, face painting, pumpkin decorating and other spooky fun along the way!

The trick-or-treat bags are $4 with proceeds benefiting The Home for Little Wanderes. The Home for Little Wanderers' mission is to "ensure the healthy behavioral, emotional, social and educational development and physical well-being of children and families living in at-risk circumstance."

Trick-or-treating bags are available now at the Customer Service Desk in the center of the Prudential Building in Back Bay

Fall Wine Fest at Cyclorama

Try different wines from all around the world at the Fall Wine Fest! The event will be held onwine Saturday, November 2nd at the Boston Center for the Arts' Cyclorama venue. 

 "Featuring vineyards in Australia and France to South Africa and Spain, the event will let you taste vintages from around the world without leaving Boston." Each attendee will receive a map that will allow guests to visit different regions at their leisure and preference. 

Tastings will be accompanied by snacks and music.

John Legend at the Wang Theatre

John Legend is coming to the Wang Theatre in the Theatre District on Tuesday, OctoberJohn Legend 22nd. The "Love in the Future" Tour is promoting John Legends new album, Love in the Future, which was released in early September.

John Legend has toured the world and has won multiple awards, including many Grammys and the Starlight Award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame. He has collaborated with multiple artists including Kanye West and Alicia Keys. 

"'Future's' 16 songs are investigations into the pleasures, pains and transformations of a long-term relationship."
