Meet the New England Revolution stars Saer Sene and Jerry Bengtson! On Thursday, August 15th, the "Sene & Jerry's" event will be at Ben & Jerry's on Newbury Street in Boston from 4-6pm.

"One hundred percent of the tips, and 50 percent of all sales during that two-hour window, will be donated to The One Fund Boston – the official non-profit established to help the people most affected by the tragic events that occurred during the Boston Marathon on April 15.

Revolution supporters are invited to stop by the Ben & Jerry’s location to order ice cream from Sene and Bengtson, find out what their favorite flavors are, and take photos with the Revs duo.

The Rev Girls and team mascot, Slyde, will also be on site for the charity scoop, handing out Revolution gear and giving fans a sneak peek at Sene’s limited-edition bobblehead, which the Revs will be giving away at its August 25 match against the Philadelphia Union at Gillette Stadium." 

"Odysseo" will be in Somerville until the beginning of September at the White Big Top. Performances are Tuesday-Sunday with an afternoon & evening performance.

The award winning performance, Wicked, is back at the Boston Opera House! Performances will run Tuesday through Sunday until mid September.

Boston GreenFest is a three-day festival in Government Center that showcases earth-friendly and healthy products, while providing free entertainment on multiple stages. This event gives guests an opportunity to learn about green products, services, ideas, networks, and jobs through various events, exhibitions and activities.  

"Boston GreenFest 2013 is a fully inclusive festival filled with fun learning experiences to address the important changes we need to make in our daily lives and our neighborhoods. It will begin at Boston City Hall Plaza with a Kick-Off Concert on Thursday, August 15, from 5-9:30 pm and will continue all day long, Friday-Saturday, August 16-17, from noon-9:30 pm and 11 am-8 pm. "

The GreenFest will include events such as the One Gallon Challange, 'Play for the Planet' concert and an Eco-Friendly Fashion Show. There will also be kid friendly events and food vendors for snacks during the day. 

The Gloucester Blues Festival is back! The event will take place on Saturday, August 10th from 11am-7pm and feature some of the nation's best blues performers. 

"Tommy Castro and the Painkillers, based out of San Francisco, will headline the show. Audiences will also be treated to Croatian-born and Tennessee-based talent Ana Popovic and Canadian Anthony Gomes, who was recently selected by Reverb Nation as the 'number one blues artist in the world.' Mississippi-based Johnny Rawls will also perform, as well as east-coast talents Lydia Warren, Mr. Nick and the Dirty Tricks and Gracie Curran and the High Falutin’ Band."

Gates open at 9 a.m. The event features a beer and wine garden and will have various food and craft vendors. The event is located on the harbor of Cressey Beach in Stage Fort Park. Tickets are $40 for adults and children 6-12 get in for $5, and at this time, will only be available at the gate entrance. 

The Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series at the ICA is back! The Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series will take place on Sunday, August 25th from 1:00pm-4:30pm. 

After performing in Europe, the World Series comes to Boston for a spectacular scene of grace, positioning and energy. The roof of the ICA will turn into an urban cliff as the best high divers in the world leap 90 feet into the waters of Boston Harbor below. The ICA's mission to exhibit contemporary art will display a playful side as fans watch from the fan, splash and IPA zone.

Corey Rodrigues will be performing at Dick Doherty's Beantown Comedy Den along with John Romanoff and Matt D. in Boston on Friday, August 9th and Saturday, August 10th. 

Corey Rodrigues has been touring for years, with much of his comedy coming from his personal life and those around him. He was the winner of the Catch a New Rising Star comedy competition, became semi-finalist in the New York Comedy Contest & Boston Comedy Festival and was a recent winner of New England's Funniest Comic. 

"Growing up in Milton - a small suburb in Massachusetts - and spending a lot of time in the city at his family's barbershop businesses allowed Corey to bring a diverse voice to the stage. Since a very early age he's had the ability to impersonate many different voices. He often left family members in tears at gatherings. It wasn't rare for him to startle his childhood classmates by imitating a teacher or principal's voice in the hallways. Corey made a quick transition from class clown to professional headliner out his no holds barred training provided by Bostonís Improv Asylum. From there he became a part of his own short form improv troupe, Flaming Awesome. Referred to as funny, endearing, edgy, quick and exceptionally likable when he is on the stage, Corey owns the crowd."

From August 18th-23rd and August 25th-30th over 200 restaurants will be celebrating Restaurant Week. 

Restaurant Week is a two week period during select times of the year where guests can experience tasty prix fixe menus for an incredible bargain. The two course lunches are $15.13, three course lunches are $20.13 and three course dinners are $38.13. Some locations will also offer wine pairings for an additional fee. 

Participating restaurants include Meritage, Morton's and Grotto! Check out the Restaurant Week's website for the full list. Some restaurants may only allow a lunch or dinner option and others may have small portions off their regular menu so choose wisely. 

Kendall Sqaure is an area of Cambridge with wonderful shops, restaurants and community events. Over the summer, the Kendall Square Corporation have been showcasing a summer concert series at 300 Athenaeum Street. 

Admission to the concert is free and will be every Thursday from 12pm-1:30pm until September 5th.

Grab a bite to eat and "come listen to some of the areas most acclaimed musicians" on the open air seated plaza. BostInno's BostonFest is around the corner! This event gives Bostonians and Boston lovers alike a chance to get to know wonderful local companies and enjoy a night at the Seaport World Trade Center.
