Bright Lights for Winter Nights is an installation of creative LED lighting and public art on the Greenway which runs from December 21, 2010 – March 21, 2011. If you couldn't make it out to the grand unveiling event on December 21, find out what you missed here. Not to worry, there is still plenty of winter wonder on the Greenway.

North End Parks

  • Lighting of the Elm tree
  • Pergola alight with solar LED lights  

Wharf District Parks

  • Modern Dance, new temporary sculpture by Jacob Kulin
  • Light Blades alight with special shows

Ft. Point Channel Parks

  • Red stick garden installation

Chinatown Park

  • Colorful LED lights
  • Banners by Josiah Quincy Elementary 4th-6th graders
The Greenway will host a three-month display of lights and art, and the Dec. 21 event includes local bands, curling competitions, dance, and drumming. Rain/snow date Dec. 22. Through March 21 at Greenway parks from North End (Sudbury Street) to Chinatown (Beach Street).
