Whether you're running in the Boston Marathon or not, it's time to load up on those carbs! We know summer is coming, and you want to fit into your swimsuit, but get it out of your system this weekend, and than go on that diet! We made a short, but GREAT list of some Boston local hot spots to get your pasta/pizza feast on.
Stella
Located in Boston's South End at 1525 Washington St.
What you should have: Spaghetti, meatballs, pomodoro , parmesan. Which runs around $17
Sportello
Located in South Boston/Waterfront (depending on how you look at it) at 348 Congress St , this quaint but cool restaurant will make you want to come back for more.
What you should have: the Bolognese is AMAZING! However, it doesn't seem to be on their menu right now. But maybe, you could go in and be extra friendly and see if they can make it for you. ;)
Anchovies
Another local favorite in the South End at 433 Columbus Ave. The space is tight, but well worth it.
What you should have: Chicken Parmigiana $13.00. Chantelle said it was the best EVER! And I trust her when it comes to food..well when it comes to anything really.
Pasta Beach
I just discovered Pasta Beach this week, and fell in LOVE with it. The space was great, but the food made it even better. If you're looking for some authentic Italian pizza go here, and their pasta is to die for as well!! I'll definitely be going back. Located on the Waterfront at 30 Rowe's Wharf.
What you should have: The ultimate test to see if it was good was ordering the margarita pizza and the Bolognese pasta. Superb! But be adventurous, because I am positive that every dish is AMAZING!
