As a kid I loved flying kites. I would see a plane fly by and wonder, is my kite to get stuck in the engine's? There was something about feeling the wind pull on that string that was so exciting! I did watch Mary Poppins WAY to much as a kid though.

MBTA: Blue Line to Aquarium. Short walk to Long Warf
During the summer season, park ferries depart frequently from Long Wharf, Boston to Spectacle Island. We suggest arriving at the dock at least 30 minutes prior to departure to allow time for ticketing and boarding. Regular ferry fees apply.
An interisland ferry connecting Georges and Spectacle Islands operates on Fridays-Sundays. Georges Island is accessible from four mainland piers.
