Posted by Tara Peterson on Mon, Oct 24, 2011

beans bagChocolate and CHEESE! YES PLEASE!

Chocolate and cheese, two of our favorite food groups, play especially well together. Join Julia, Formaggio Kitchen cheesemonger and chocolate buyer, and Alex, Taza Chocolate co-owner, for an evening of tasty, novel combinations. They'll demonstrate how to pair some of Formaggio Kitchen's favorite cheeses with various varieties of organic, stone ground chocolate from Taza. You'll learn to create unique dessert flights, pair them with wine and beer, plus integrate chocolate and cheese in unexpected ways, think along the lines of bonbons. The evening will include a brief tour of Taza's Somerville factory and plenty of sampling, of course. Cost is $45 per person, sign up right here. (Class may be full, but they do have a wait list, and I'm pretty sure they will probably do it again soon, right? RIGHT!?)

Located : 561 Windsor Street, Somerville, MA. TAZA (click the name to be taken to their website).
