imageslightsIf it's too soon for you because Thanskgiving hasn't even happened yet, than pass this post up. If you're a die hard Holiday celebrator like myself, than this post is for you!!

The 85ft. Norwegian spruce (the tallest holiday tree in N.E.), weighing in at 9000 tons; boasting 3500 ornaments; and illuminating the entire Marketplace with 300,000 "B" lights, highlight all-day entertainment by the all-girls band-JADA-; Santa Claus; Peter Pan characters; music & dance ensembles and the internationally-known Faneuil Hall Street Performers!

Approx. 5:00PM-5:15PM, Boston Mayor Menino and linebacker Jerod Mayo switch on the lights, while thousands of pieces of confetti fall from the sky!

The ceremony is open to everyone Free of charge & all Marketplace shops, restaurants, pushcarts, food stalls are open day & night!
