Oh it's happening people! Get your cloaks and pointy ears out!
All hail, Aragorn! In honor of 2012 Coolidge Award honoree Viggo Mortensen, the Coolidge is holding a one-day-only marathon screening of the complete Lord of the Rings Trilogy. The theater is showing the extended cuts of The Fellowship of the Ring (2001) and The Two Towers (2002), followed by the theatrical director's cut of The Return of the King (2003). That's nearly 11 hours of LOTR fantastic-ness. All three films will be shown in glorious 35mm.
