Get out of the cold snow and into the heat of the 2013 Miss Boston and Miss Cambridge Pageants this Sunday February 10th at 5pm, at the Park Plaza Hotel. Miss Boston is Boston's largest preliminary for Miss America and each year the young lady crowned as Miss Boston competes for the title of Miss Massachusetts. The title of Miss Cambridge will also be offered this year and she will compete for the title of Miss Massachusetts and will serve as a representative for the City of Cambridge.

The Harvard Museum of Natural History is a great venue for exploring. Established in 1988, as the public face for 3 museums: the Museum of Comparative Zoology, the Harvard University Herbaria, and the Mineralogical and Geological Museum there are plethora of things to view and learn about. Presenting the incomparable collections of these parent museums and the research of scientists across the University, it has a mission to enhance public understanding and appreciation of the natural world and the human place in it, sparking curiosity and a spirit of discovery in people of all ages. The Commonwealth Museum is located on Morrisey Boulevard in Dorchester and is a hub of our state's history. The museum has both online and live exhibits, with the current feature being: Our Common Wealth: The Massachusetts Expreiment in Democracy 1620-Present
The exhibit traces the Massachusetts experience through the colonial, revolutionary, federal, and nineteenth century reform periods. The sub-theme, “Tracing our Roots,” tells the story of four representative Massachusetts families of Native American, English, African-American and Irish heritage. Oliver is a highly charged and constantly boisterous musical by Lionel Bart, based upon the novel "Oliver Twist" by Charles Dickens. The Urban Art Bar in South Boston is a unique option for nightlife. Unlike many nightlife hotspots, The Urban Art Bar does not feature dimmed lights and loud music.
