The Clowns are back in town and they never fail to leave crowds without laughter. The Ringling Barnum and Baily Brothers have been around since the 1800's, and have not fallen short of their first performance. With elephants, monkey's and more, these clowns put on quite the show. From Wednesday October 10th til' Sunday the 14th, the TD Garden will be filled with entertainment as well as people from Boston and surrounding areas. Up until December 31, 2012 head over to the BCYF Blackstone Community Center at 50 W Brookline Street in South End to be on your way to adopting a healthy lifestyle. Rumor has it that these Zumba Divas don't mess around, and are dedicated to preventing general obesity. So get off the couch chubs and head on over to South End. AND- no complaining about the expensive gym costs. These classes are only seven dollars per session but if you order ten classes it's only fifty bucks. It's easy cheesy! Yes, you heard me loud and clear. Take the Boston College T Line, or take a quick drive down Commonwealth Avenue towards Brighton and you are in for quite the treat. The Avenue is one of Brighton's hot spots, with over 30 beers on draft and amazing burgers you can't go wrong. I took it upon myself to try it out last Monday and I was shockingly impressed. I was expecting one of those rip off burgers that you get when there is a special- ya know the kind that doesn't even have lettuce or tomatos and you could eat in one bite? But not here! The Avenue is not joking around when they make these one dollar burgers. Mine was so big and juicy that I could barely finish it. I will definitely be there tomorrow night so I better see you there! And yes, you can come say hey to me. I don't bite. (unless you dress up like a burger)

Ten Cents Wings!

Yes, I am very aware that your jaw is dropped to the floor right now, but it IS true. Not only are there ten cent wings, but in one of the most happening spots in downtown Boston. Only two blocks from the Park Street green line station on Mondays you will find people lined up out the door of RedHat. What are they doing you may ask... waiting on a table to get some cheap beer and ten cent wings! That's 50 wings for only five bucks! The great part about it is there is no limit or minimum. Order one wing or one hundred- no matter how many they are only ten cents each! Gnarly right? So just wing it this Monday at RedHat. Besides, everybody's doin' it. (ps.. get there by six and avoid the line)

If you know anything about college football, then you know Alabama fans redefine the word dedication- on the field, in the stands, and definitely at the bar. Boston doesn't fall short when hosting Alabama fans in the Northeast and the White Horse Tavern is where game day goes down. (and the party) If you are looking for a rowdy Saturday- VERY rowdy Saturday- than you may want to buy some cowboy boots, put on your classiest (or trashiest) crimson red shirt, and make way to The White Horse Tavern in Allston. Gathered there you will find true Alabama fans. Don't know what to expect? Trust me, you won't be disappointed. It's one of those "if you can't beat em' join em" events. ROLL TIDE ROLL Y'ALL! It's that time of year again. You know... The Harpoon Brewery's Octoberfest in Boston's Waterfront. Every year it is a huge hit, and people from across New England make there way to Boston (as well as stumble their way out) You are guaranteed to have a large selection of Harpoon beers, including IPA. Rumor has it that you will even witness the best Chicken Dancing this side of the Alps has to offer and the famous keg bowling game. So make sure to party hard people while enjoying three stages of music.

The Phantom Gourmet Food Festival is this Sunday so hurry up and get your tickets fast! This is an indoor and outdoor event and all of the Lansdowne Street bars and restaurants will be open.

Is the Pats game a must for you?
