Posted by Tara Peterson on Thu, Mar 08, 2012

playwithfireI like fire. I like it a LOT. Anyways...

A trio of contemporary works — Sharper Side of Dark features large-scale architectural sets and a haunting lighting design; Bella Figura is tangibly sensual in its adoration and reverence towards the human body and contains partial nudity; Rooster is a hugely popular work by a British choreographer set to 8 classic Rolling Stones songs.

Check out the Boston Ballet this week with their performance of Play with Fire.

#709 Live at Storyville

Posted by Tara Peterson on Wed, Mar 07, 2012

Storyville Ogan
"The vibe is just right for a lot of things—amazing cocktails, creative dishes, and hanging out with some friends or a date. It evokes a speakeasy. A dance club and lounge Thursday through Saturday, the Back Bay basement spot is in the running to become a go-to music spot for Wednesday nights. There isn’t much in the live-music well for this neighborhood, and we're honored to have a hand in its development. And this won’t be the first time great music has taken over the club, either. “Great music” would actually be the understatement of the century. Legendary is the right word. This is Storyville."

 Live Music tonight!

Where: Storyville | 90 Exeter Street
When: Tonight at 9pm - 1am
Price: There’s no cover charge
