Jamaica Plain has no shortage of talented and diverse musicians, composers, and performers. On Saturday, September 8, 2012 they are given the chance to come together for one incredible day of music.
There is deep pride in Jamaica Plain. It manifests in one-of-a-kind Mom and Pop stores, restaurants, bars, art galleries, sports leagues, and political, cultural, and historical groups.
The musicians that live in Jamaica Plain have played all over the city and country. Despite the thriving scene that manifests itself in a few local venues and basement shows, there hasn't been an opportunity for these artists to get together locally on a large scale... until last year's inaugural JP Music Fest, and this year as well!
