I'm sure you've ALL heard of it...and guess what? It's baaackk!! For it's fourth year running. If you're looking for something to on Sunday this would probably be it.

The 4th annual No Pants Subway Ride in Boston will take place on Sunday, January 9th in the afternoon at 2pm at Alewife. Specifics may change between now and the event, so register at our Boston Flash Mob site  for email updates. 

You must arrive by 2pm to receive instructions and be assigned to a team. Wear 2 or more pairs of underwear to prevent embarrassing "wardrobe malfunctions" as well as to keep your bits from freezing! Bring a bag/large purse/backpack/tall hat/briefcase to hide your pants in when the event starts. To receive instructions and to be assigned to a team, just look for the people with the umbrellas that have an interrobang (  ‽ )  on them

The official pants-free after-party for the 21+ only crowd will take place at McGreavy's near the Hynes T stop. It's going to be pretty phenomenal and an event in and of itself, so make sure you can attend for a bit. It isn't open-bar, but there's a pretty good chance we'll buy you guys a round.

A suggested and fantastic sounding location for an alcohol-free & under-21 after-party is pantless bowling in Davis Square.  

The No Pants Subway Ride is a global event started by  www.ImprovEverywhere.com  in New York in 2002.

If you want to have some mysterious fun Saturday night (January 8th) head over the MFA.

A curator has been murdered and left a trail of clues connected with secrets in works of art at the Museum of Fine Arts. As your team gathers answers about the art, you begin to piece together a sordid tale about greed, lust, pride, revenge and treachery, all revolving around the museum’s planned multi-million-dollar purchase of a long-lost painting by Leonardo Da Vinci. The murder victim knew too much—and now it’s up to you to learn what he knew and discover what drove one of four suspects to commit murder. To find out, you’ll have to crack a secret code left in the victim’s appointment calendar. Can you figure out who dunnit? Be prepared for our most challenging hunt.

A Selection of Contemporary Swiss Type Design

The exhibition presents a selection of new typography from Switzerland, where type design has been a high art form for generations. Young Swiss designers today confront this long tradition with irreverence, humor and boldy creative strokes using digital and traditional design tools. Represented in the exhibition are the font designs of Nicolas Eigenheer, Phillippe Desarzens, Matthieu Cortat, Emmanuel Rey, Jeremy Schorderet, Ian Party, Gilles Gavillet, David Rust and a dozen others, all graduates of the design program at University of Art & Design (ECAL) in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Canadian-based performance company Cirque du Soleil never fails to thrill and amuse with its funky mix of daring aerial feats, circus arts, and amped-up street entertainment. Their parade of acts has drawn upon everything from the origin of life to old-fashioned fairy tales, and their latest show, Dralion, is an East-meets-West celebration of the elements — air, water, fire, and earth. If you haven’t caught a Cirque show yet, it’s about time. See what all the fuss is about by catching one of eight performances at Agganis Arena.

Go to the Improv Asylum Friday night and get a good laugh on before you head out to the barracks for New Years.

We're chewing on the concept behind "Hungry Hungry Hipsters." This new show by Improv Asylum is a series of sketches inspired by several things, including the TV show "Glee" and Canobie Lake Park. And with the cast taking suggestions from the audience you can't go wrong!! Tickets are $20, $15 students and military personnel, $25 on Saturdays. Show starts at 8pm!
