Hello fellow Bostonians. It’s Saturday again, you know the day before your house hunting ventures begin. It’s the second Sunday in October and mother nature is holding the home searching weather together for us. As Fall continues on, so does the search for many Boston real estate buyers. Buyers, as well as REALTORS, continue to hurdle (or just run straight into) Boston’s increasing prices. But do not be discouraged! There are still many “Smart Buys” that continue to enter the market. How to get them? Well in this multiple offer-friendly market my advice would be to make sure to understand the market trends and to also have a great REALTOR. It sounds like such a typical thing for me, a REALTOR, to say, but in this market I have seen many multiple offer situations and have witnessed lower offers accepted (based on the terms and contingencies that great REALTORS have drafted up.)
