Communicating with Your Tenants

Communicating with Your Tenants

153215091 (Mobile)If you a landlord with a single family home, or a landlord with ten rental properties, I would like to shed some light on some important considerations for you.

Build a positive relationship with your renters.

It is always great to stop by and introduce yourself after your tenant has moved in. Or some landlords choose to make it part of the rental process. It’s useful to be able to put a name to a face instead of just the front page of the lease!

Respond quickly and efficiently.

If your tenant has a concern, it’s important to maintain your professionalism, and respond quickly and efficiently to their requests. Everybody loves a prompt landlord! Whether it’s a leaky faucet, or the heat isn’t working properly, your tenant will be happy to see you or your contractor soon after their issue started.

A happy tenant leads to a happy landlord!

If you’re a busy professional, or just don’t have the time to deal with the daily issues around a rental property, there are other options such as a management company. Consider a few items such as these to see if hiring a professional company is right for you. Learn more about Charlesgate Property Management.
