How Did They Do It?

The ABODO National Apartment Report aggregates and analyzes data from the millions of verified listings on ABODO.com. Each listing is paired with a 5-digit zip code. Within each zip code, we calculate the average price of 1-bedroom apartments that are currently available for rent within a specified time period. The data is gathered and analyzed on a month-to-month basis. The data for the September National Apartment Report reflects the changes in rent price from August 1, 2016 to September 1, 2016.

The data found on ABODO.com is sourced from properties from across the country, spanning 50 states, thousands of cities and neighborhoods. Our vast database of rental properties is pulled from reliable sources and syndicate relationships with other listing platforms. We’ve gathered pricing and amenities information for more than 1,000,000 rentals across the country, including thousands of listings within walking and commuting distance of almost 500 university and college campuses. We also have an internal team that contacts properties directly, if those properties do not make their listings available through a reliable service.
