We are all sheep....

We are all sheep....

Better stated - Who can I vote for?

I will admit two things....

1. I am a small government kind of guy.

2. Barack Obama is probably going to get my vote.

I know those may be seemingly opposite viewpoints.  That is why I am struggling with the decision.  This is the first year since I was eligible to vote that I have given SERIOUS thought to not voting at all.  I am fed up with the games both sides play to incite voters.  The games that we allow to manipulate us.

THERE ARE TOO MANY IDEOLOGUES.  On both sides.

Our government is completely (embarrassingly) shortsighted and only think about their own personal re-election 2, 4, or maybe 6 years away.  That is the absolute longest any government official can think.  Pitiful.

Politicians ask for our money and our vote.  What do we get in return.  Corrupt fools who

My favorite quotes that I have heard bandied about:

"Obama is a socialist."    Apparently we have a new definition of socialism since I studied economics.

"Republicans caused the financial meltdown by being greedy"

Democrats casued

Democrats and Republicans both ALLOWED the meltdown to happen because they are too concerned about passing the than fixing FUNDAMENTAL flaws in our economy, in our healthcare system, in our military system, in our social security system, in our envirornment.

Of course, at the end of the day, I live in Massachusetts, so it doesn't matter who I vote for.  Here, through generations of brilliant wisdom, we don't actually have a choice at all.  It is predecided.  And that is the truly sad part.

We are sheep.
