The BBJ has a cover story about steak houses "cooled by down economy".  Since I am a huge fan of restaurants and really just food in general, I have to say I hate to hear when any restaurants are doing poorly.  Of course - I find most steakhouses mildly overrated, unoriginal, and too expensive, but I still do feel badly.  Not only that, but restaurants are a bellweather for discretionary spending in the economy and when they start to feel the heat, you know consumers are pulling back on other spending as well....
